The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) offers a unique opportunity for individuals to work as Law Enforcement Officers in the field of immigration and customs law enforcement.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations,
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions, and
• Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry. 

Candidates with one year experience that demonstrates sound decision making skills; ability to learn regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction;
