Job Description


To protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws;

  • Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders;

  • Interpreting physical evidence to determine citizenship or violations; and

  • Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.


The selected candidate will work with an elite team of highly trained professionals who are committed to their daily mission. Border Patrol Agents have a vital role in ensuring public safety. As a key member of this team,
you must be able to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information
