A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer is a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs regulations, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel. • This position requires individuals to work at ports of entry, airports, seaports, or along our international land border where they will intercept smugglers attempting to enter or exit the U.S., conduct interviews with travelers from all over the world under circumstances often involving high stress situations such as seizures due warrants while separating apprehended people into appropriate processing centers; managing detention facilities which include large numbers being held temporarily until further action by CBP officials before release back onto community streets after thoroughly reviewing documentation including fingerprints whenever applicable - documenting incidents during daily duties without evidence suggesting wrongdoing etc.
