This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the U.S. Border Patrol as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO). As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations

Salary Information: Annual Base Salary for newly appointed BPAs varies per grade.
Action opportunities include farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks.
Patrols will take place on government assets such as vehicles in various locations at different times. Bonus Opportunities: Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents may also qualify for up to $40,000 $20,
