Protective Security Specialist

Looking for a challenging and rewarding career in law enforcement? As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and protecting its citizens. Your duties may include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing the entry of undocumented noncitizens into the country, and performing various tasks related to border security. To be eligible for this position, you must possess one year of general work experience that demonstrates your ability to make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations, learn regulations methods techniques through classroom training on-the-job instruction gather concise information through questioning observation examination of documents records OR have a bachelor's degree successfully complete four years course study field leading bachelor's degree from accredited college university AND some relevant coursework. You should also meet certain requirements such as being a U.S. citizen having primary residency within United States three out five previous years not exceeding age 40 at time appointment veterans' preference eligibility.
