Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
- Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders using surveillance equipment.
- Interpreting tracks and other physical evidence to identify illegal entry points.
- Serving as part of farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks teams.
Candidates should possess:
The ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
The capacity for sound judgment when dealing with sensitive information
A strong understanding of federal laws and regulations related to law enforcement
Familiarity with surveillance technology
The aptitude for teamwork
