Customs and Border Protection Officer
About the Job
The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled individuals to fill the position of Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBPO, you will play a vital role in safeguarding America's borders by enforcing customs laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in law enforcement or related fields, with skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and communication. You must also be able to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent physical fitness.


Required Skills
  • Law Enforcement Experience:
    • A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws.
    • Familiarity with importing/exporting merchandise regulations.

  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Assess threats using intelligence techniques & risk assessments for violations.
