The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is looking for skilled professionals to fill the position of Customs and Border Protection Officer. As a CBPO, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding America's borders, enforcing customs laws, facilitating trade and travel, and protecting national security.
- Enforce federal laws related to customs, immigration, agriculture products inspection;
- Facilitate legitimate international trade operations within assigned station(s);
- Maintain situational awareness through deployment on duty stations; Monitor traffic flows; Inspect cargo goods as well as vehicles under government surveillance.
An important part of this job includes conducting physical inspections of people , documents or goods for criminal activity, fraud, and/or illegal operations.Utilizing observational techniques while evaluating facts, reviewing documentation while applying Federal State & local
laws & regulations.Making determinations in compliance with said laws which may lead to arrest seizure fines penalties based upon findings
