We are seeking a highly skilled Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and protecting its citizens.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to make sound judgments under pressure, and possess strong analytical abilities. You must also have the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
The following is a list of key qualifications for this position:
- A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
- Detaining suspected violators of federal laws.
- Enforcing customs regulations.
- This experience can be gained through various means including law enforcement or border control experience. You may choose from three different options for gaining these necessary qualifications:*
