In this role, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, protecting American interests and securing our nation. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), your primary responsibility is to safeguard the country's borders by enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws at designated ports-of-entry or checkpoints.
- Facilitate trade and travel between countries while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Conduct inspections of individuals, conveyances, baggage,
and cargo to detect contraband such as illicit goods drugs.
