Customs and Border Protection Officer

The Role


The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. You will also facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.



  • Safeguarding America's borders by ensuring that all cargo entering or exiting the country complies with U.S. laws;

  • Enforcing agricultural importation regulations to prevent plant pests from being introduced into U.S. territory;

  • Making determinations in compliance with laws regarding arrestable offenses involving smuggling contraband; communicating essential information related to actual events concerning entry into United States Security checkpoints
