Border Enforcement Specialist

U.S. Border Patrol Agent

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.
• Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.

The requirements for this position include a strong ability to learn regulations, methods, law enforcement techniques through classroom training/or on-the-job instruction as well as maintain composure in stressful situations; gathering concise information through questioning observation examination of records; having one (1) year general work experience demonstrating the mentioned skills OR A bachelor's degree successful completion full four-year course study any field leading Bachelors Degree from accredited college university.
Citizenship must be U.S., applicant should have had primary residency protectorates declared international law three five years Age restriction may apply although those with current military service existing federal civilian law enforcement covered under Title USC 8336(c) 5 USC8412(d)
