This position involves detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs regulations, inspecting documents, and possessions.
  The goal is to effectively scrutinize suspects' backgrounds for potential security breaches.

In this role you will be responsible for preventing illegal activities at or near national borders. This entails identifying suspicious behaviour and taking action as necessary.

• Detection of illicit goods or contraband.​


• To enhance border security by thoroughly reviewing documents such as passports, ID cards etc., and suspect profiles using up-to-date information systems.


• Capturing smugglers by verifying identities through technology-assisted verification processes, tracing historical records to detect trends in smuggling activity. Preventing re-entry into a country after having been deported due to an immigration violation results in severe consequences if caught again so long term it could save lives!
