About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in law enforcement and border security. As a CBPO, you will be responsible for:
- Enforcing customs laws and regulations
- Facilitating legitimate trade and travel
- Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances
- Determining admissibility for entry into the United States
Pursuant to U.S.C. 8336(c), this position requires applicants to meet specific qualifications, including:
p • One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-7 level that includes detaining suspected violators; utilizing intelligence techniques; conducting interviews with suspects.
h3U.S Citizenship Residency Age Restriction Federal Civilian Law Enforcement Title5 VC Registration Background clearance Training completion Successful candidates must complete 101-day training program FLETC GA followed by Spanish online training.
