The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) offers a long-term career in federal law enforcement as an entry-level agent. The role involves performing duties that support national security, public safety, and the rule of law.
Responsibilities include identifying suspicious behavior, interrogating individuals, inspecting personal property, and analyzing evidence to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and legislation. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will also be expected to provide excellent communication skills when interacting with various stakeholders including foreign nationals.
