About the Job:CBP Field Operations Officers play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation's borders. As an Officer, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by enforcing customs and immigration laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Detain suspected violators of federal law while conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
Facilitate trade and travel by ensuring compliance with regulations.
Conduct interviews to gather information on potential threats.
The position involves making rapid judgments regarding admissibility into the United States.
You must have had primary U.S. residency for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
