This role involves being part of a 60,000+ workforce that safeguards the nation's borders, prevents illicit activities, and promotes economic growth.

• Conduct surveillance to detect individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.  Detecting unauthorized entry by humans or goods into the country is also an essential task.


• The agents are responsible for conducting inspections at ports of entry, as well as along the U.S.-Mexico border.


• Maintaining law and order in designated areas while ensuring public safety through efficient communication with other agencies if necessary.
