- The primary responsibility of this role involves detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, while inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status or identify potential violations.
- Duties include preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers by maintaining covert surveillance from strategically positioned vantage points, utilizing night vision equipment when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating tracks, marks, and other physical evidence related to illegal entry or smuggling activities;
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective border security measures are in place;
This position demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be able to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.">
Work Environment: This role is primarily based outdoors at the borders. Employees may work varying shifts including nights
