Protecting America's borders requires a unique blend of skills and expertise. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of an elite team dedicated to safeguarding the nation.
- Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Prevent and apprehend aliens at or near the borders using covert surveillance methods
- A minimum 1+ years of specialized experience in law enforcement is required for both GL-9 positions: , such as performing physical searches or working with detainees
To qualify for GS-11 positions, candidates must have at least 1+ yearsof experience in leading investigations utilizing intelligence information
