Responsibilities of a Border Patrol Agent:
The primary goal is to enforce immigration, customs, and agriculture laws. Some key responsibilities include detecting suspicious individuals or contraband crossing the border, questioning suspects under oath, gathering intelligence on smuggling operations. This includes data analysis skills that will help in faster decision-making during high-pressure situations. A BPA may also inspect documents and property while identifying counterfeit goods or currency.
