• Linguistic skills: You must be fluent in both English and Spanish, as well as possess excellent communication skills.


• Certifications/Training: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required for this position, with a preference given to those with experience in law enforcement or related fields.


• Duties/Responsibilities: As a BPA, your primary duties will include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship status, preventing illegal entry into the country through surveillance operations using infrared scopes during night-time patrols.
  The use of firearms also requires sound judgment.
