Border Security Specialist

• The role involves safeguarding national borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity through the detection of illegal entry and contraband.

BPA responsibilities include detecting and preventing unauthorized persons or goods from crossing international boundaries. This is achieved through farm checks, building checks, traffic checks; patrolling international borders using government assets such as vehicles, horses,
vessels etc., providing law enforcement services in a courteous manner;
analyzing information rapidly and making prompt decisions. In this position you will be eligible for promotions without re-applying once you complete
a specific amount of time at lower grade levels allowing for career advancement opportunities.
