The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking highly skilled individuals to join the prestigious U.S. Border Patrol team as a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO). As a key member of this elite group, you will be responsible for safeguarding America's borders while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

As a BPA, you will engage in various duties including detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.

• One year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions in stressful situations, learn regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction; OR Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement based on GPA out of 4.0 OR one full year of graduate-level education in law enforcement-related fields from an accredited college/university;
