Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. As a CBPO, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the nation's borders and protecting American citizens.

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws ,


• conduct inspections ,and
    gather intelligence toreview policies for reducing barriers that could increase illicit activity.
  The Customs and Border Protection Agency operates as part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security with offices around the country including Anchorage AK at Ted Stevens International Airport ANCAgency also has permanent presence near each land border crossing (one east another on west).
  These officers travel throughout their assigned sectors inspecting cargo arriving from foreign ports before releasing it onto domestic market; make arrests when necessary,
  infiltrate trafficking organizations,detect money laundering schemes operate smuggling operations provide overall protection services.
  given location duties vary significantly depending sector assignment -some may involve enforcement responsibilities only while others handle administrative tasks related case management ,tracing items seized during investigations responding public inquiries addressing concerns amongst communities affected by agency actions
