Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Summary

• We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to fill the position of Customs and Border Protection Officer. This role involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws, as well as facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
• As a CBPO, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States, and preventing illegal entry of prohibited goods.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving abilities. You must also have experience with law enforcement methods including detaining suspected violators using proper techniques.

• A minimum of 1 year specialized experience in law enforcement or related field equivalent to at least next lower grade level


• Detailed knowledge of customs regulations including import/export procedures


• Excellent analytical skills with ability to make rapid judgments under pressure


• Possession of master's degree from accredited college/university or two years progressively higher-level graduate education leading towards such degree may be considered in lieu of required specialized experience)
