These are proper conversations. You'll be speaking to production managers, engineers, buyers, business owners. People who know their world and expect you to understand it too.   Your day as a Sales Executive will revolve around building relationships, following up enquiries, turning quotes into orders and spotting opportunities others might miss. It's commercial, but it's consultative. You are there to understand, not to bulldoze.   This is an office-based Sales Executive position, fully part of the commercial team. But you won't be confined to a desk. As a Sales Executive, you'll also have the opportunity to meet customers on site, see their operations and strengthen relationships face to face. In engineering, credibility matters. Seeing it first hand sharpens your edge.   You don't need exact sector experience.   You do need exposure to the engineering world. Manufacturing. Machining. Fabrication. Engineered components. Enough that technical conversations don't faze you.   This Sales Executive role is about attitude. You build rapport quickly. You read people well. You can adapt your approach depending on who is in front of you.   A chameleon, but a genuine one.   As a Sales Executive, you will identify buying signals, nurture opportunities and convert them in a way that feels natural. Sales for you is instinctive. You believe in what you are selling. That belief shows.   What's in it for you? £35,000 to £40,000 basic salary plus commission.
