Wage Range : $25/hour

resorts on Vancouver Island's rugged west coast: Moutcha Bay Resort, Nootka
Sound Resort, and Newton Cove Resort

generation of anglers. Our mission is to provide an unparalleled luxury fishing
experience that not only immerses our guests in the natural beauty of our
surroundings but also instills a deep appreciation for fishing and the
environment.

About the Role

The Breakfast Cook prepares and serves breakfast, lunch, and snack
bar items for guests and crew at the Nootka Sound and Newton Cove Resorts.
Reporting to the Resort Chef, the role ensures high-quality meal preparation,
kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and smooth morning operations.

Key Responsibilities

·       
Prepare and serve hot à la carte
breakfast and specialty dietary items.

·       
Set up, maintain, and take down the
continental breakfast buffet.

·       
Prepare sandwiches, packed lunches, and
crew lunch following recipes.

·       
Restock and prep items for the next day
to ensure smooth service.

·       
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces,
equipment, and floors after service.

·       
Put away deliveries, rotate stock using
FIFO, and organize kitchen stores.

·       
Assist the Resort Chef with evening meal
prep when needed.

·       
Greet guests upon arrival and departure
to support a positive experience.

Qualifications

·       
Legally entitled to work in Canada

·       
At least 2 years relevant kitchen experience

·       
Computer literacy including a strong grasp of
Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

·       
Food Safe Level 1

·       
WHMIS certification

·       
Ability to work
quickly, manage priorities, and maintain quality

·       
Strong
computer literacy (Word, Outlook, Excel)

·       
Ability
to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

·       
Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred

·       
OFA1 (Occupational First Aid Level 1)
