We are seeking a Unit Manager – Service Operations to lead and oversee multiple services at HMAS Albatross, Nowra (NSW). This is a leadership role, managing a team of site managers responsible for hospitality, cleaning, accommodation, and transport services. If you have a can-do attitude, strong organisational skills, and experience managing teams and operations, this is a rewarding role where your leadership will make a real impact on the daily lives of Defence personnel.

The Position

• Oversee multiple service areas including hospitality, cleaning, accommodation, and transport
• Manage and mentor site managers and team leads, fostering a high-performance culture
• Champion a proactive Safety Culture and ensure OH&S compliance
• Maintain high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction across all services
• Support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects

The Person

• Proven leadership and management experience across multiple teams or service areas
• Strong organisational and operational management skills
• Ability to drive results, solve problems, and implement improvements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead managers and liaise with stakeholders
• Commitment to safety, quality, and outstanding service delivery

* Commercial experience in large complex live buildings.
