About the Team & Business Line

Proprietary software solutions and innovation are at the core of what differentiates Citco in the alternative investment space. Through our network of global development centres, Citco invests heavily in technology development, security, and infrastructure to ensure our clients continue to receive award-winning products that underpin our commitment to service excellence. 

We're seeking an experienced VDI Senior Administrator to join our Infrastructure Support group, playing a crucial role in maintaining and advancing our virtual desktop infrastructure. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting Citco's commitment to service excellence.

Your Role

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows 11 VDI environments, with a focus on Omnissa\VMware Horizon solutions (both cloud and on-premises).

  • Architect and support our Disaster Recovery (DR) solution in Horizon Cloud on Azure, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.

  • Spearhead automation initiatives using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, RunDeck, and Grafana to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain application packaging strategies using AppStacks, optimizing software delivery across the VDI environment.

  • Provide expert-level (L3) support for Windows 11 VDI environments, leading incident resolution and conducting root cause analysis.

  • Implement and optimize monitoring solutions for VDI infrastructure, conducting regular performance analysis and system optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure VDI solutions align with organizational goals and user needs.

  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend support as needed to maintain 24/7 operational readiness.

Qualifications

About You:

  • You must have minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Omnissa\VMware Horizon VDI solutions

  • Proven experience with Omnissa AppVolumes and Omnissa DEM

  • Proven expertise in VDI deployment, management, and troubleshooting 

  • Strong automation\scripting skills using PowerShell, Terraform etc.

  • Strong background in Omnissa\VMware Horizon Cloud

  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services 

  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft FSLogix

  • Expertise in Windows 11 multi-session environments (Preferable but not essential)

  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (Preferable but not essential)

  • Knowledge of ThinPrint solutions (Preferable but not essential)

  • Basic Linux administration skills (Preferable but not essential)

Salary Range: CAD $94,000 - CAD $126,000
