Job Title: Inside Sales Representative (Tire Shop).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team at a thriving Tire Shop. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and expertise in the tire industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
  • Assist customers in selecting the right tires for their vehicles based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Provide in-depth product information, including tire specifications, performance characteristics, and recommended maintenance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building relationships and promoting customer loyalty.
  • Handle customer inquiries, quotes, and orders via in-person, phone calls, email, and other communication channels.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality service throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to facilitate smooth tire installations, rotations, and repairs. 
Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, product developments, and tire technologies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our tire inventory, including sizes, brands, tread patterns, and load/speed ratings. 
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of tire-related services, warranties, and promotions to effectively upsell and cross-sell to customers.
  • Educate customers on tire maintenance best practices, including proper tire inflation, alignment checks, and routine inspections.
Sales Targets and Reporting:
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets, contributing to the overall sales goals of the tire shop. 
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups using our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Generate regular sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and provide insights to management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies, action plans, and promotions to maximize sales opportunities. Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or automotive-related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within the tire industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build rapport with customers. 
  • Excellent product knowledge of tires, including different types, brands, sizes, and performance characteristics. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM systems and point-of-sale software.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
