What we are missing is a world-class short-form distribution system.
We are hiring a Short-Form Content Distribution Lead whose sole responsibility is to turn each long-form YouTube video into maximum reach, familiarity, and trust across short-form platforms.
This is NOT a social media manager role.
This is NOT a video editor role.
This is a strategy + direction role focused on distribution and performance
Your Core Responsibility
Turn each long-form YouTube video into an army of short-form content that makes our brand unavoidable to beginners in Australia.
What You Will Own
• Decide what gets clipped from long-form videos (15–25 clips per video)
• Define how clips should be framed per platform:
• Instagram Reels
• TikTok
• YouTube Shorts
• Facebook Reels
• Categorise clips into content buckets:
• Education
• Trust / credibility
• Beginner mistakes
• Disqualification (low capital / wrong mindset)
• Design a clear weekly posting and distribution plan
• Direct and coordinate with:
• A clip editor
• A hook & caption copywriter
• A publisher VA
• Identify which organic clips are strong enough to later become paid ad creatives
You own the distribution logic and decision-making, not the editing.
What Success Looks Like
• Daily, consistent posting across platforms
• Repeatable clip formats that perform
• Increased familiarity before prospects ever see ads
• Sales team reporting "people already know you" on calls
• Organic content feeding ideas into paid ads
We care about business impact, not vanity metrics.
Who This Role Is For
• You have experience building or running short-form distribution systems
• You understand hooks, retention, and watch time
• You think in systems, not trends
• You've worked with education, coaching, or info businesses
• You're comfortable making decisions without being micromanaged
Who This Role Is NOT For
Do NOT apply if you are:
• A generic social media manager
• A video editor only
• A meme page operator
• Focused purely on "going viral"
• Prioritising aesthetics over performance
Required Experience
• Proven experience distributing short-form content at scale
• Clear understanding of how long-form content should be repurposed
• Platform knowledge (Reels vs TikTok vs Shorts vs FB Reels)
• Ability to explain why a clip will work, not just that it "feels good"
Time & Compensation
• Ongoing monthly role
• Approximately 10–15 hours per week
• Budget: to be discussed, depending on experience
• Long-term opportunity for the right person
