Plains is excited to offer a 6‑month temporary opportunity for a Coordinator, Planning & Analysis at our Fort Saskatchewan facility (PFS). This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic operations environment while contributing meaningful financial support to the site. Reporting directly to the Manager, Operations Planning & Analysis, you'll play an important part in ensuring accurate, timely, and high‑quality financial processes that keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Track costs on purchase orders and projects
- Verify accurate rates and approvals on employee timesheets
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Ensure proper coding of invoices and purchase orders
- Collaborate with internal purchasers and external vendors to resolve billing discrepancies
- Submit requests for new vendor setups
- Process facility donation requests
- Assist employees with expense coding
- Enter purchase requisitions as needed
- Support the team with various ad hoc administrative and financial tasks
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent business diploma preferred
- 3–5 years of administrative experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Self‑starter with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Oil and gas industry experience considered an asset
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Strong organizational and time‑management capabilities
- Demonstrated initiative and solid work ethic
- Permanent residency within 120 km of the Fort Saskatchewan facility
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
- Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks
- Compliance with the Company's drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing #Plains
