We are looking to hire a Senior Associate or Vice President to join our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team at Jarden. The successful candidate will have direct Australian ECM experience from an investment bank and a strong understanding of local equity markets, transaction execution, and client engagement.


Description
  • Execute Australian equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and private placements
  • Support origination and execution across ECM products, working closely with sector coverage and sales teams
  • Prepare and review transaction materials (e.g. Investor Presentations, Investor Announcements, Board Reports)
  • Coordinate equity raising due diligence, timetable, and execution logistics
  • Development of financial models to inform valuation and transaction-related advice
  • Stay informed about market trends and contribute insights to support strategic and valuation advisory assignments
  • Engage with clients, investors, legal advisers, and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and gather necessary information
  • Mentor less experienced team members at the Analyst and Associate level

  • Skills And Experiences
  • You will have a proactive, self-starting approach with genuine drive to contribute to deal origination and execution
  • Australian ECM experience at an investment bank is essential. 5 + years of relevant ECM or investment banking experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with colleagues and clients in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organise and manage multiple work assignments, with frequent priority changes
  • Excellent financial analysis, modelling, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of Australian equity markets, ASX listing rules, and transaction processes
