What you�ll do
- Provide leadership and direct the local organization of Nova Biomedical and continuously develop this organization.
- Be responsible for growth of the local subsidiary in line with company expectations.
- Develop subsidiary business plans and sales, marketing, and service strategies to ensure profitability of the subsidiary. Review and update these plans as demanded by market dynamics.
- Work closely with Key Corporate Stakeholders to ensure that the Sales & Marketing, Medical and Scientific Affairs, Quality and Technical Support goals are met.
- Establish a sales, expense, and profit budget together with the Senior Director, International Sales. Manage and be accountable for this budget to ensure compliance to the corporate objectives for the subsidiary.
- Provide a strong sales management direction to the field sales force.
- Ensure good communication throughout the local organization, and with the appropriate Nova Corporate employees.
- Be responsible for coordination of sales and service activities and ensure that the teams are working in harmony.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts in line with corporate requirements.
- Ensure that financial reporting requirements to Nova Biomedical Corporate are met in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review tender responses and quotations for correctness and content, and ensure corporate branding guidelines are met, and that a Corporate image is portrayed upon submission.
- Ensure that comprehensive and appropriate polices for Health and Safety, Human Resources and Employment Legislation are in place, documented and enforced.
- Ensure that local regulatory registration requirements and other country specific product related regulations are adhered to.
- Develop and maintain systems and procedures under the ISO 9001:2015 scope of current accreditation.
What we are looking for in you
- A master�s degree in business or marketing and ideally a primary degree in biochemistry, biology or science is preferred
- 5�10 years� experience in leading a small to mid-sized In Vitro Diagnostics sales & marketing organization.
- Experience in the POC Testing/ blood glucose monitoring, Blood Gas business, or Biotech
- Strong focus on sales management
- Goal orientated with good leadership qualities focusing on teamwork
- Customer Oriented � willing to travel in the field to meet key customers, negotiate large tenders, travel with sales and service representatives, etc.
- Creative � willing to try new ideas and adapt to market fluctuations
- A good understanding of financial statements and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentational skills.

Work Location: On-site in our Sydney, Australia area office
Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, General Business Hours
Targeted Salary Range: $185,000-$214,000 USD ($280,000-$320,000 AUD)
