Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

We are looking for a Senior, Learning and Development Specialist to join BrokerLink and work out of one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario or Atlantic region. On a Permanent FT Basis.

Reporting to Learning & Development . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality eLearning course content for employees using Articulate 360. Creating engaging, digital learning experiences that support exceptional customer service, enhance individual productivity, and build essential skills and competencies. Ensures all eLearning content aligns with current strategic objectives and business needs. Adheres to all departmental, program, and regulatory policies and procedures.

What the Role Entails:

• At an advanced level, research, create and prepare content using Storyline 360 and Rise 360 software.

• Supports and promotes the adoption and application of workplace learning.

• Ongoing administrative management on existing and completed training courses and programs. Supports colleagues in developing these skills.

• Consistently participating in program planning in collaboration with team members and external stakeholders. Identifying and developing solutions to fill training gaps locally, regionally, and nationally.

• Consistently participating in various projects within the L&D department and other departments.

• Success Partner to other Learning & Development Specialists.

• Performs other duties as needed.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Advanced knowledge in Storyline 360 and Rise 360 or other equivalent course creation tool required.

• Experience in course creation (Digital or Instructor lead)

• Adult learning certificate or equivalent

• Continuing education (CAIB 1, 2 & 3 or 5 CIP courses)

• Insurance License is an asset

• Project management certification is an asset.

• 3-5 years of Insurance experience

• Strong customer service

• Attention to detail

• Facilitation and teaching abilities

• Broker Management System, Epic an asset

• Technical Knowledge:

  • MS Office Suite, Articulate 360 products
