Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking a casual Administrative Assistant for a six-month term to provide administrative and logistical support to the Practice Skills Lab, academic programming, and broader faculty operations, including the Office of the Dean.
This role is well-suited to an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in supporting academic activities in a university environment. A detailed task list and clear directions will be provided for immediate priorities.
About the Practice Skills Lab
The Practice Skills Lab is a key component of the curriculum in the first three years of the Entry to Practice Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program, as well as the Certificate to Canadian Pharmacy Practice (CCPP) program at the University of Alberta. The Lab supports undergraduate pharmacy students and internationally educated pharmacists by providing a structured, professional learning environment aligned with program requirements.
Working closely with the Practice Skills Lab Coordinator, and individual Practice Skills Course Coordinators, this role supports the administrative and operational coordination required to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Practice Skills Labs.
