You'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of aviation repair and maintenance through training and preparation. 

The Senior Manager, Technical Training Operations – International leads and oversees technical training delivery across all international sites. This role ensures consistent execution of enterprise training standards while accounting for regional regulatory, cultural, and operational differences. The position manages international training managers and serves as the primary liaison between global operations and the enterprise training system.

What you'll do:

  • Lead international technical training managers and site-based training resources
  • Ensure consistent execution of enterprise technical training programs across all international locations
  • Promote alignment across regions while respecting local operational and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee delivery of instructor-led, on-the-job, and LMS-supported training internationally
  • Ensure training delivery aligns with approved curricula, standards, and qualification frameworks
  • Support development and consistency of instructor capability across regions
  • Ensure compliance with international regulatory bodies (e.g., EASA, Transport Canada, and other local authorities)
  • Manage approved regional variations within the enterprise training framework
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination for regulatory-driven training differences
  • Partner with Quality to support qualification validation and audit readiness internationally
  • Address training-related audit findings and compliance risks across regions
  • Ensure consistent application of training governance globally
  • Provide feedback to Training Systems & Development on international training needs, system gaps, and curriculum impacts
  • Participate in enterprise training governance forums and cross-regional alignment efforts

Position Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Must have a valid passport or be able to obtain one
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or qualification or professional certification.
  • Experience in learning content creation
  • Minimum of 5 years as a training practitioner
  • Experience with leadership of a multi-level team and demonstrated success with development of employees
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative training solutions
  • Experience with LMS course and curriculum architecture, curriculum management, curation and course management
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to travel (10%)
  • Can work remotely anywhere within Canada

  • Experience in the development of strategic government and educational partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex systems and processes and apply advanced critical thinking skills
  • Ability to set clear objectives and measures, monitor process, progress and results, clearly assign responsibility for tasks and decisions.
