Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at Enterprise Square.
The Annual Giving Office at the University of Alberta is the building block for all private philanthropic support. The Annual Giving Office allows the University to pool support from multiple donors to meet the current and pressing needs of students and researchers in the faculties and the university as a whole.
Reporting to the Senior Annual Giving Officer, the Annual Giving, Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors who provide unrestricted annual support for the university and its faculties through their participation in the Annual giving programs such as crowdfunding, Giving Day, class and reunion giving, student and young alumni giving, etc.
The primary focus of the Annual Giving, Program Coordinator is to develop an institutional and Development and Alumni Relations wide approach to build Annual Giving programs for key constituencies with a focus on developing fundraising and engagement programs involving students. The incumbent works collaboratively with Development and Alumni Relations colleagues, student groups, and various units across campus.
