Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will support the TMS Reporting & Control activities for the clients in the Securities Lending program at RBC Investor Services (IS). You will be responsible for assisting with new client set up and maintenance processes. Furthermore, the individual will help to continuously seek process improvements while ensuring strong operational risk controls.

What will you do?

  • Lead and support new client setup and maintenance processes to ensure accuracy of profiles in line with contracts, policies, and regulations.
  • Provide support for ongoing satisfaction of clients by ensuring deliverables meet client needs and expectations.
  • Support management of regulatory requirements, working with various stakeholders to complete investigations, analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Liaise with Client Solutions to implement changes to promote understanding and ensure changes are properly implemented.
  • Create and adhere to appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), incorporating them into daily activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the team's operational efficiency and mitigate the risk profile for both clients and RBC IS.
  • Maintain desk operating procedures and all documentation relevant to daily operations for Reporting and Control.
  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to help deliver process improvements.
  • Determining needs and suggesting solutions for administrative improvements in procedures, processes or systems to support other functions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 3+ years of relevant experience within the financial or asset servicing industry
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively on a global basis in cross functional teams
  • Advanced MS Office skills: Excel (Macros, pivot tables, vlookup, etc.), Acces, beginner knowledge of SQL
  • In depth knowledge of custody and TMS products (Securities Lending, Investment Finance, Cash & FX)
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to IS clients
  • Project Management – Beginner knowledge

  • Knowledge of Securities Lending and investment finance

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55, $90,000.00
