We are seeking a versatile Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, encompassing a variety of tasks from receiving and stocking to order picking and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming merchandise accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided/certification required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations through diligent work and teamwork.
- Handle physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds consistently, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including frequent lifting.
