We are looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco, California. This comprehensive role supports all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. Your duties will include managing inventory, operating equipment, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of goods. This position involves significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting and standing. Become an integral part of our efficient logistics and supply chain management. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counting procedures.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to established guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our complex logistics operations.
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 60 pounds and extended periods of standing and walking.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to operate warehouse machinery safely (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours if required.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.
