We have an exciting opening for a Warehouse Associate in Durham, North Carolina! As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the efficient and safe operation of our distribution center, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You'll be working with a variety of products, so attention to detail is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Store and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and utilize required PPE.
- Follow all logistics procedures to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
- Capability for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to accident prevention.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
