We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our facility in Tampa, Florida. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse infrastructure. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of various warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, automated machinery, and material handling devices. A strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to proactive maintenance are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Install and set up new equipment as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing duties.
- Assist with inventory management of spare parts and supplies.
- Support the logistics team in ensuring operational uptime.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with conveyor systems, automated storage, and retrieval systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting as required.
- Must possess own basic tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications preferred.
