We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role is crucial for the overall productivity and **logistics** flow within our state-of-the-art distribution facility. You will perform preventative maintenance on machinery, diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure all equipment meets **safety** standards. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands. The successful candidate will work closely with the operations team to identify potential equipment failures and implement solutions. This includes regular inspections of conveyor systems, forklifts, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and other essential warehouse machinery. You will be expected to manage spare parts inventory and assist in the procurement of necessary components. A strong understanding of **PPE** usage is mandatory, and adherence to all **safety** protocols is paramount. This role may require occasional **Lifting** of moderate to heavy components during repair or maintenance tasks. The Warehouse Technician will also be involved in the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all warehouse machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures.
- Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Adhere strictly to all **PPE** and **safety** guidelines.
- Manage spare parts inventory and assist with ordering.
- Collaborate with operations staff to minimize downtime.
- Conduct **safety** inspections of equipment and work areas.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Be prepared for **Lifting** duties as required during maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and **PPE** compliance.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
