Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, palletizers).
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to address equipment-related issues.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment lifespan.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement as needed.
- Assist with occasional heavy lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a related maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
