We are seeking a reliable Picker/Packer to join our busy warehouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is essential for the efficient processing of customer orders, ensuring that items are accurately picked from inventory and carefully packed for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a key part in our logistics chain, contributing to customer satisfaction through accuracy and speed. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse stock using pick lists or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack items securely into appropriate boxes or containers, using correct packing materials.
- Verify order details against packed items before sealing and labeling.
- Operate packaging equipment and warehouse tools as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the shipping department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and moderate Lifting throughout the shift.
- Capacity for Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse and logistics procedures.
- Dedication to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
