Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an Order Picker! We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to ensure the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. This role is a critical component of our logistics operations, requiring precision, speed, and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using order lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the correctness of picked items and quantities against customer orders.
- Package items appropriately for shipment, ensuring product safety and integrity during transit.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and in accordance with training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, consistently adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or observed safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Strictly follow all PPE requirements, including the proper use of safety vests, gloves, and other mandated gear.
- Assist with put-away of received goods and participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet and exceed daily order fulfillment targets.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient warehouse culture through proactive engagement and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an order picking or warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret product codes, order numbers, and instructions accurately.
- Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety best practices.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
