We're expanding our team in Omaha, Nebraska, and looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our busy warehouse! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately gathering products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Success in this position hinges on your ability to work efficiently, maintain accuracy, and contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics department. If you enjoy a physically active role and have a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect fit.
Responsibilities:
- Read picking tickets or use a scanner to locate and retrieve items from warehouse stock.
- Verify that the correct items and quantities are picked according to the order.
- Package picked items securely and safely for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed, following all Safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory control activities, such as cycle counts, as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Physical capability of Lifting up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety guidelines is preferred.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
