We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our busy logistics hub in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is critical for the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse, ensuring materials are moved efficiently, safely, and accurately. As a Material Handler, you will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport, store, and retrieve materials. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming materials, stocking shelves, picking items for orders, and loading outbound shipments. A strong commitment to Safety is non-negotiable; you must strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and consistently use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires a high degree of physical dexterity, the ability to perform significant Lifting, and proficiency in operating material handling equipment. We are looking for reliable, experienced individuals with a proven track record in a warehouse or logistics environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stock shelves and assist with inventory management.
- Pick and prepare materials for outbound shipments.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and wear required PPE.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
