We are hiring a Shipping Clerk for our busy warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring that products are dispatched efficiently and accurately to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding our high standards of service. You will be responsible for managing the entire shipping process, from receiving orders to dispatching them, including picking items, careful packaging, labeling, and coordinating with various carriers. Success in this role requires a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are expected to strictly follow Safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves regular Lifting of packages and materials, so physical stamina is necessary. You will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for reliability and speed within the logistics industry. We seek individuals who are reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic. A good understanding of warehouse management systems and shipping documentation is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outbound shipments for delivery.
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and packaging.
- Generate shipping labels and manage shipping documentation.
- Communicate with carriers and track shipments.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the shipping area.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping or logistics is beneficial.
- Capable of Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
